FULL-TIME BUTLER POSITION

A Fort Worth, TX family is looking for a full-time live-out Butler. The candidate should be multi-dimensional and willing and able to perform any task required in a busy home, formal or informal. Compensation will be 10% greater than your current proven compensation, with benefits.

 

Responsibilities will include:

·        Assisting House Manager with all his duties

·        Reconciling and auditing household budgets/credit card statements

·        Managing inventory for both the home and off-site storage locations

·        Assisting with household and family safety and security measures  

·        Overseeing family packing and travel preparations

·        Coordinate/Follow through on household purchases of furnishings and accessories

·        Assisting in managing household staff

·        Assisting with planning and organizing social and holiday events

·        Maintaining school and activity schedules for children of the family

·        Scheduling extracurricular activities and securing professional instructors relative thereto

·        Scheduling and tracking pet health care, vaccinations, and grooming

·        Following checklists – every employee and every activity has a checklist and a procedure. You must be detail oriented and enjoy following checklists and making sure others follow the procedures diligently

·        Working Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 6:30pm  with occasional special occasion coverage 1x/mo on average

 

The successful candidate will:

·        Be able to commit to this role for at least 2 years

·        Be able to provide response to emails from homeowner within 1 hour of receipt during nights and weekends unless at a special event or asleep

·        Be able to use 50% of your vacation time between July 2 – August 8

·        Have reasonably good Excel and Word skills

 

Field-related degree not required but a plus.

Two butlers are needed immediately for a five-star Hotel In Zurich. Gender and age not an issue, experience needed in hotel/private service, high-profile service a bonus.

Training provided for those with a required desire to learn, who are energetic, have an eye for detail and a service mindset. Must speak German and English and able to work in EU or UK legally.

Salary, 4,250 Swiss Francs per month, accommodation provided for 400 SFr.
